As one of the important structures composite materials, polymethacrylimide (PMI) foam sandwich structure is prone to debonding and delamination defects during manufacturing service, which seriously affects mechanical properties materials. Therefore, it necessary detect structure. A linear frequency modulation infrared thermal wave nondestructive testing system was built study correlation between geometric characteristics (diameter depth) defect surface temperature signal its influence on detection effect. The image sequence processed by principal component analysis, discrete Fourier transform, reconstruction, other algorithms. Studies have shown that larger diameter, shallower depth, easy defects, effect good. can effectively identify de-lamination defects. reconstruction method superior analysis transform in signal-to-noise ratio index, improves quality conducive effective identification information.
